Sales Specialist

Xplorient is a startup building an innovative Extended Reality (XR) Marketplace. As we expand our reach and grow our community, we are looking for a proactive Sales Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in sales while contributing to exciting projects.

Job Description Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify potential clients.
  • Market Research: Analyse industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine our sales strategies.
  • Client Outreach: Assist in crafting and sending outreach emails, follow-up communications, and coordinating introductory calls.
  • CRM Management: Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Sales Support: Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and other materials to support the sales team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product to align sales efforts with business objectives.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather and report client feedback to help improve the marketplace’s offerings and user experience.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Technology, Finance or a related field.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools
  • Ability to conduct market research and identify potential leads.
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp) and outreach platforms.
  • Confidence in engaging with customers via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
  • Basic knowledge of data organisation and reporting.
  • Time management and organisational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced sales environment.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in sales or related internships.
